Your feedback is important for helping to shape the EU’s next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) – please contribute to the consultation on the single market and cooperation between national authorities.
A public consultation has been published to gather data for the next MFF, which will start in 2028. This short questionnaire covers EU funds supporting the single market and cooperation between national authorities. Feedback from stakeholders is needed on what went well and what could be improved, to learn from past experiences and tailor a focused, simpler, and more impactful EU Budget reflecting the EU’s strategic priorities.
Please help improve the future long-term budgetary framework by contributing to this consultation – it will be open until 6 May 2025 (midnight Brussels time).
The current Multiannual Financial Framework – the EU’s long-term budget – runs until the end of 2027. Following President von der Leyen's Political Guidelines for the 2024-2029 European Commission, the aim is to create a simpler, more focused, and responsive budget that reflects European strategic priorities. In 2025, comprehensive proposals will be put forth for the post-2027 Multiannual Financial Framework and for the next generation of financial programmes that will receive funding. These programmes provide financial support to hundreds of thousands of beneficiaries such as regions, towns, NGOs, businesses, farmers, students, scientists, and many others. As an integral part of the process, a series of public consultations is being launched to gather views from all interested parties on how to make the very most of every euro of the EU budget.
