Doing business in the EU
The Erasmus for Young Entrepreneursprogrammeensures that the participants are well-informed about the considerable opportunities presented by the Single Market while at the same time prepared for possible obstacles, rather than learning through painful experience that might jeopardise their business and their willingness to remain an entrepreneur.
It is indeed important to explain to participating entrepreneurs, particularly the New Entrepreneurs (NEs), how the EU Internal Market functions, as well as the many remaining barriers to buying and selling across borders that they may still encounter.
The training fiche on the Internal Market provides signposting to useful additional sources of information and advice, notably the Enterprise Europe Network, SOLVIT and the European Commission's SME Portal.
This fiche can be used during the induction sessions and by NEs throughout their stay abroad, indeed, subsequently.
