Winner of the Open-EYE Video Pitching Competition 2025

Each year, the Open-EYE consortium celebrates the most promising young entrepreneurs emerging from Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYE) exchanges through the Open-EYE Video Pitching Competition. The 2025 edition placed a strong focus on green and digital innovation — and this year’s winner, Zuzanna Nover from Germany, perfectly embodies that spirit.

Her project, NOVER Audio Services, introduces a fresh vision for the music and audio sector: sustainable, mobile, and technologically forward-looking. Through her exchange with Austrian host entrepreneur Zebo Adam, she has transformed her business idea into a model for greener music production across Europe.

Meet Zuzanna Nover: A New Voice in Sustainable Audio

Zuzanna is a young entrepreneur with an ambitious mission: to merge high-quality audio services with environmentally responsible practices. Her company aims to provide mobile and innovative audio solutions that reduce the ecological footprint of sound production. Her passion for music, technology, and sustainability guided her to join the EYE programme, where she hoped to turn her vision into a viable and impactful business.

Learning with an Industry Veteran: the match with Zebo Adam

To refine her business idea, Zuzanna partnered with Zebo Adam, a well-established producer and sound engineer in Austria. With over 20 years of experience, Zebo has worked with artists, studios, live production teams, and creative communities throughout the region.

Their collaboration quickly became a rich two-way exchange:

• Zuzanna gained hands-on experience in studio workflows and production processes.
• She observed how a long-standing studio manages projects, clients, and technical challenges.
• Together, they explored new approaches to greener audio practices.
• The exchange grew beyond the technical: Zuzanna also benefited from creative freedom, intercultural exchange, and access to Zebo’s extensive network.

The EYE programme helped Zuzanna apply to a German Accelerator, enter a kickstart programme and be part of a music tech accelerator in Amburg! As Zuzanna said, the EYE programme has been "a real door opener and paved the next stage for Novar Audio Services. 

By connecting emerging talents with experienced mentors, the programme fosters innovation where it’s needed most — even in sectors that don’t yet realise the transformative potential of green and digital approaches.
