Education and Intercultural Exchange Program

Antonio Ángel López is the young founder of the start-up GO Camp Spain, a company created with the aim of recruiting international staff for Spanish summer camps. He was looking for ways to expand his business to the Portuguese market and consolidate alliances with companies for intercultural exchanges. After discovering the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme, he decided to participate as a New entrepreneur, expecting to gain more experience and develop new skills to continue his entrepreneurial project on his own. Edgard Marcondes is a recognised Brazilian entrepreneur who emigrated to Portugal in search of new opportunities. Since then he has founded 3 award winning startups in the fields of culture, tourism and education. Edgard participated in EYE as a Host entrepreneur and founder of Let’s Go World to share knowledge and enable the goals of other entrepreneurs.

During the exchange, Antonio and Edgard focused on designing the activities of GO Camp Spain , such as planning summer programs in Spain and Portugal. They developed specific procedures and strategies for the administrative processing of visas for foreign participants, the selection of participants, the logistical coordination and implementation of cultural exchange programs, and for communication with the public through the website and content creation. Within Let's Go World, they worked on the implementation of activities in collaboration with and under the supervision of the local mission and led various online workshops on foreign languages, national dishes, traditions and legends, contemporary literature, as well as assisting with other promotional functions of Lets Go World in national and international settings.

Angel's experience has been defined as a success as he has achieved many benefits not only for his company GO Camp Spain but also as a director for the international expansion of "HUB International Association ". He and Edgard have created an entrepreneurial association whose main mission is to help other young entrepreneurs and investors from all over the world to come to Europe and realise their projects. In addition, thanks to Edgard, Angel has made several interesting professional acquaintances and contacts for potential clients and collaborations. He has made many agreements with vacation camps, leisure centres and educational centres to expand his business. Angel has benefited from his EYE experience as evidenced by the many contacts and collaborations he has made.
