Evangelia Bakinta , the founder of Chic Greek Gifts, is an experienced entrepreneur in the field of advertising and promotion. Since she first joined the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme as Host Entrepreneur, her goal was to meet someone who shared her motivation and business interests. Patricia Lopez Rodriguez decided to participate in the EYE programme as a New entrepreneur to give KUUMBA STUDIO a new lease of life and learn the right skills to run her own design studio. She learned about the EYE program at an event for Women Entrepreneurs in Galicia, Spain, and thought it was a great opportunity to learn how to run a marketing business from an expert. Her goal was to improve her business skills and expand her contacts throughout Europe.

During her exchange in Greece, Patricia attended meetings with Evangelia's suppliers and customers so that she could learn about the market and its supply and demand. In this way, she understood how Evangelia approaches new customers, takes care of their needs and follows up. She also had the opportunity to offer her perspective and apply her graphic design skills. Evangelia introduced Patricia to a specific project in the marketing office of Chic Greek Gifts that deals with sustainability, jointly setting goals for the coming years and the criteria to achieve them.

Patricia learned how to create an email marketing campaign in the form of newsletters using the MailChimp platform. She also learned a holistic approach to customer service, which includes all the steps to go through when serving a customer. With Evangelia, she familiarised herself with social media and digital marketing efforts while bringing her expertise in retouching, design, and copywriting for social media and e-commerce to Evangelia's business.

Thanks to this experience, Patricia was able to improve her business plan and attract new business partners by using the concrete tools Evangelia taught her. She managed to achieve her goal and gained three new contacts thanks to this exchange and decided to run her own business from abroad, where she found interesting business opportunities.

In turn, Evangelia gained two business leads in Spain through working with Patricia, and saw an increase in the turnover of her company.
