Evelina Petrovaite from Rokiskis, Lithuania, studied psychology at Mykolas Romeris university. With this background, she wants now to start a social business to help the youth in the country deal with their emotional and depressive issues. Lithuania is indeed one of the top 10 country in the world where the suicide rate remains high. Born in Lithuania, Evelina indeed understands too well what suffering from depression and sadness means and thus wants to help the young people overcome their issues.

After few years working as an employee in Lithuania and in US, she decided it is time to move forward with her business but she felt limited due to the lack of knowledge. Thrilled with the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs initiative, she applied in March to work with Matteo Gnocato from EUROGEMS, Italy in the hope to get advice on entrepreneurship, broaden her horizons and deepen her knowledge. She spent two months working in the company learning how to run a small business, which included team management, events organisation and networking and fundraising. But it is not all- Evelina also gained knowledge on new markets, as well as learned about the most common mistakes first time entrepreneurs make and how to avoid them which made her more confident and motivated about her business idea.

Now back in Lithuania, Evelina wants to start her own business as soon as possible to offer free trainings to young people on how to deal with their emotions, as well as teach them self-love. By helping the youth to manage their anger and emotional issues, Evelina hopes to help them make a positive change in their mentality and thus in the society.
