From Italy with love…

Nice to meet you! I am Anett Turóczi the new entrepreneur who with the help of ‘Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs’ was able to reorient her career.
I have been passionate for wine for nearly 7 years now and my first training on wine started in 2012 at the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET). Yet, this was not enough... I wanted more!
I needed to get to know the commercial practices and professional aspects of the industry. I wanted to meet professionals in the sector to acquire experience. Most of all I wanted to open my own business. Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs was thus the perfect tool to help me achieve all of these.
I wanted to find a host entrepreneur who would help deepen my knowledge and experience something that I consider vital for my future business. Therefore I did research and finally got in touch with Celestino Gaspari owner of Zyme Winery- one of the best Italian quality winemakers and grape-growers!
Celestino was enthusiastic about working together and was very keen to help me build up my project. Our cooperation went beyond all my expectations as he and his family did everything they could for me. I felt home during the entire period of my stay abroad at the host country and they facilitated everything for the me so that I could devote 100% of my time to my project.

The experience and knowledge I acquired in the wine making process thanks to my host - including programming and tasting selling marketing and relationship building- is invaluable for my future business.
I got plenty of opportunities to create new business connections and I made many friends at the same time. I got insights into the wine making processes from harvesting until bottling resulting in a perfect wine!
I had the chance to work with my host and his team to attend wine fairs meet professionals and taste very good wines. As part of the learning process I also had the opportunity to visit wine cellars-very useful in this sector!
My host entrepreneur is the perfect example to follow! I am convinced that this new experience will help me a lot during the first steps of the creation of my wine consultancy. I have great opportunities for future collaboration and I look forward getting into to wine industry both inland and abroad.
