Innovation marketing and communication
The HE, Mr. Magagni, runs Creative Hub Bologna, which supports the cultural and creative sectors in Bologna by engaging talented companies and individuals from the creative and tech sectors with prestigious academic and training institutions. This enables them to engage, collaborate, and benefit commercially within a unique and dynamic ecosystem. Participating in the EYE programme represented a great opportunity to reinforce the organisation’s presence in EU projects and connect with professionals from all over Europe.
The NE, Andrej Janković, is a young professional whose business plan focuses on creating a coworking space, "Bizy”, aimed at enhancing creativity, encouraging collaboration, and helping businesses focus on their niche market. Bizy is planned to open in August 2026 in Niš, Serbia.
Mr. Magagni (HE) and Andrej Janković (NE) focused on marketing and communication during the exchange, deep diving into the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including social media, digital advertising, PR, and audience analysis. Andrej Janković contributed innovative ideas and applied his previous experience to improve the HE organisation’s visibility and outreach.
In addition, Andrej Janković explored finance, reporting, and business management, learning how to monitor KPIs, plan budgets, and optimise operations with the support and guidance of Mr. Magagni. At the same time, both participants worked on improving the HE organisation’s visibility and audience engagement through the development and refinement of the business plan for "Bizy” coworking, integrating strategies for service design, cost management, and market positioning.
The NE had the chance to explore how a creative hub is managed on a daily basis and how stakeholder engagement is pursued. The NE strengthened his marketing capabilities by supporting the design and execution of marketing campaigns, bringing fresh ideas, digital skills, and a structured approach that enhanced the organisation’s visibility and outreach. He also improved his understanding of business processes through collaboration on finance reporting and KPI analysis.
At the same time, the HE and his team streamlined internal processes, optimised workflows, and improved performance monitoring by benefiting from the NE’s fresh perspective and innovative insights into emerging market trends and startup strategies. The NE introduced innovative approaches, particularly in marketing and customer engagement.
The NE and the HE also worked closely on cross-cultural collaboration through proactive teamwork, intercultural communication, and knowledge sharing, fostering a more creative and collaborative environment.
