Results and benefits
Arwen Sentis is a young French musician passionate about traditional music and dance. Through her experience in the bal folk scene she discovered how powerful these practices can be in creating connection joy and collective energy. With the idea of bringing this spirit into the workplace she began developing her project "Folk Your Team". Wanting to turn this vision into a real business, she joined the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme to gain practical experience. She met her host entrepreneur Dimo who runs traditional dance and music activities. Sharing a common passion for cultural transmission and community-building they decided to work together combining artistic practice and entrepreneurial learning in a meaningful collaboration.
Throughout the exchange Arwen was deeply involved in both the artistic and human aspects of the project. She led dance workshops and tune circles sharing traditional melodies from her own background and creating spaces where participants could connect through music and movement. These moments became an essential part of her experience allowing her to experiment with ways of building and maintaining a group. At the same time she worked alongside her host on structuring the project: testing different formats organizing events and adapting content to various audiences. Together they also explored communication strategies partnerships and new ideas to expand the project including themed events or dance sessions.
This experience marked a real turning point for Arwen. What started as an idea gradually became a concrete and structured project. She gained confidence in her ability to lead groups transmit her knowledge and adapt to different contexts while also developing essential entrepreneurial skills. Beyond technical knowledge she discovered what it truly means to build a community around a project - through trust regularity and shared experience. The collaboration with her host also opened her perspective on intercultural exchange and new ways of working. Today she feels ready to take the next step and launch her own activity with a clearer vision stronger skills and the desire to keep creating meaningful collective experiences
