Marco the NE is a young aspirant entrepreneur from Italy who aims to launch his business focus on offering specialised consultancy services in the field of euro planning and EU projects supporting companies public bodies and non-profit organisations in accessing European funds and financing (like Erasmus + Single Market Programme Horizon Life European Social Fund). He joined the EYE with high expectations: gaining all the tools he needs to enter this profession and lay the usual foundations for the development of the business. The HE Patrizio runs Uno a non-profit organization based in Valencia which focuses on the concept of Life Long Learning believing that everyone should be able and should aim to continuously study and improve themselves. He joined the programme to provide valid leadership guidance and counselling to those who wish to enter this world and make a difference helping someone build his/her own business to leave a mark in society their way.

During the experience the NE and the HE had the chance to deep dive into a wide range of activities from the design and implementation of training courses towards communication and storytelling. The NE had the chance to be in the front line to understand how to facilitate and implement a project managing part of the trainings. They also focused on research activities and on the stakeholders’ and beneficiaries’ engagement process. Finally they analyzed potential EU calls designing and concepting project proposals and creating toolkits to support ongoing HE’s initiatives.

The NE had the chance to achieve several key results for his professional development and success: he became an active facilitator from a mere observer he deep dove into the project management supporting the preparation phase the facilitation and the trainings. He learnt how to share responsibilities and present contents gaining greater confidence autonomy and a deeper understanding of teamwork. He now understands how EU projects are structured and implemented. The NE involvement strengthened several operational areas of the HE’s and brought fresh energy and perspective to the team which proved particularly valuable during key phases of project management and development. The HE gathered consistent support also with partner communication document preparation and project follow-up maintaining a high standard of implementation across several ongoing EU-funded projects: this resulted in improved coordination and enhanced responsiveness toward partners and stakeholders.
