The New Entrepreneur, Liubov, is a Ukrainian creative professional with a background in media and acting who relocated to Italy due to the war. In Italy, she was hosted by Walter, an experienced cultural event organizer from Calabria Italy leading a non-profit association that produces theatre performances, educational workshops and local cultural initiatives. They joined the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme to share knowledge, exchange skills and explore new business opportunities in the cultural sector. For Liubov, the programme was an opportunity to understand the Italian event industry, improve a business plan, test new services and build a professional network. Both entrepreneurs expected to create innovative cultural projects that combine Calabrian traditions with modern creative tools strengthening their future cooperation.

During the exchange, Liubov worked closely with Walter’s team participating in daily operations, event planning and cultural project management. Together, they developed and tested new creative services, including VR 360 event concepts and acting-based workshops adapted to the Calabrian market. Liubov contributed to designing event structures, preparing materials, managing logistics and communicating with clients and partners. She also assisted in the organization of theatre performances and cultural events, gaining hands-on experience in coordination and promotion. A key achievement was the preparation and delivery of two pilot acting workshops — one indoor and one outdoor — which allowed both entrepreneurs to test audience interest and refine the service model. The collaboration included market research improving the Liubov’s business plan, identifying target audiences and creating a roadmap for offering new services through Walter’s network.

The exchange brought clear benefits to both entrepreneurs. Walter gained fresh ideas for cultural programming, including VR 360 storytelling and acting workshops which can attract new audiences and diversify services. Working with Liubov provided inspiration for combining traditional Calabrian culture with modern creative tools leading to the development of the "Calabrian Stories Live!” concept. Liubov improved her entrepreneurial skills, updated her business plan and gained practical experience in event planning pricing and client communication. She also tested her own service by delivering two pilot acting workshops, receiving valuable feedback and confirming market interest. Both built a strong professional relationship, established contacts with potential clients and partners and created a roadmap for future cooperation. The results position them to continue working together on innovative cultural projects beyond the programme.
