Veronika Moskvychova, is an aspiring interior designer from Ukraine who dreams of opening her own studio. Keen to broaden her knowledge of business planning, visualisation and customer service, and to understand how creative businesses operate on an international level, she decided to take part in the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme.

Her host, Jelena Kadric, is the founder of an interior design studio in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She was looking for a motivated young professional who could bring fresh ideas and explore AI tools in her daily work. Together, they saw the programme as the perfect opportunity to combine experience with new perspectives.

During her placement on the programme, Veronika played an active role in the day-to-day running of Jelena’s studio. She received guidance and support in learning to use new software, attending consultation meetings and working on real client projects. Under Jelena’s mentorship, she mastered modern 3D visualisation tools, helped create presentations and worked on conceptual projects for clients.

The new entrepreneur also gained an understanding of the legal and tax aspects of setting up a business in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Furthermore, she helped manage the studio’s online presence, assisting Jelena in creating content for social media and launching advertising campaigns.

The collaboration proved mutually beneficial: Jelena gained fresh ideas for promoting her business, whilst Veronika acquired invaluable practical experience.

Through the EYE programme, Veronika not only enhanced her technical skills as an interior designer but also gained a deeper understanding of how a creative business is structured and operates. As a result, she was able to update her own business plan and gain a clear appreciation of the value of her services.

Jelena highlighted Veronika’s contributions to implementing AI tools, developing content, and strengthening her studio’s presence on social media. This exchange demonstrates how combining experience with fresh perspectives can create value for both sides and contribute to business growth
