The new entrepreneur, Jim, is a Bangladeshi-born social entrepreneur studying in Hungary and leading a social venture in Europe: he runs Vision Green Organization, a forward-looking greentech company that aims to solve environmental and social challenges through sustainable technologies design and cross-national green initiatives. He joined the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme to expand this platform in Europe on a large scale, starting with a niche portion of the bigger market and eventually making it a successful greentech company with a supply chain spread across Asia and Europe. The host entrepreneur runs Exeo Lab, a consultancy based in Potenza (Italy), which deals daily with supporting SMEs and startuppers in business development processes. He joined the programme to support aspiring entrepreneurs building a joint path to create further future collaborations.
The new and host entrepreneurs could focus on a wide range of activities during the exchange: from general project management, working on the coordination and execution of the host's ongoing projects through which the Jim could provide valuable support to the team and help streamlining the communication and collaboration across departments to web design and IT-related enhancing user experience and improving the IT infrastructure. The host supported the new entrepreneur in the expansion of the business plan for his own startup: through regular mentoring sessions and feedback, his strategy could be refined and growth opportunities identified developing a more robust and sustainable business model.
The new entrepreneur had the chance to be directly involved in project management processes, supporting team coordination and overall communication, and also testing web design and IT innovations, helping revamping the host's website and implementing updates to improve user experience. Through mentoring sessions, he could gain insights into business development positioning him for future success. The new entrepreneur brought a dynamic and fresh perspective to the host's company, making notable contributions that positively influence operations: he helped to optimize workflow, contributing to the timely and efficient completion of tasks and contributed to a better customer experience, which in turn helped the host to enhance online engagement. Beyond the practical contributions, the new entrepreneur could introduce innovative thinking that sparked internal discussions about potential improvements: the relationship not only helped him grow, but also fostered a cross-flow of ideas that positively influenced both projects outlook.
