This programme is a great opportunity for every entrepreneur and particularly for new ones. In my experience I could implement the ideas I got for my project and validate many of the hypothesis. I have learned a lot in different fields and became good friend with Michal outside of working environment too.

The new entrepreneur is developing a Digital Marketing Agency and the host entrepreneurs company in developping Apps.


The exchange involved Jesús a Masters’ Degree In Bussiness and Administration specializing in Digital Marketing and Michal a Computer Science undergraduate with his company Bizo Mobile in which he has been working for more than 10 years developing Android and IOs Apps (mainly). The main concept of the exchange was to connect both fields of expertise. Jesus would implement Digital Marketing techniques in Michal’s company and Michal would teach technical issues and team management. After six months the exchange was a success. Many different Digital Marketing techniques were applied to Bizo’s Apps such as ASO SEM Campaigns or UX/UI improvements. And Jesus could see from a close hand how the team was working and how Michal perceived the different services offered by Jesus. In the beginning Jesus got the idea to develop a Digital Marketing Agency for middle and small hotels chains but finally decided to focus on Medium and Small Real State Agencies.

The main activities were to improve the Apps already created by Bizo.

  • ASO (App Store Optimization): they worked in Key Words Research translating the apps in different languages (Spanish Russian and Ukrainian) and changing the pricing to match the countries they were being sold to. All of this plus generating new screenshots and icons and testing them through A/B testing tools.
  • SEM Campaigns: They use Google and Facebook Ads to promote the Apps in different markets such as Mexico and Spain.rnUX/UI optimization: In order to improve user’s engagement they fixed the main KPI’s for each App and improve engagement through improving the App dynamics or visuals.
  • A/B Testing: They used Firebase to test new implementations and validate hypothesis for the Apps.
  • HotMaps: They used UXcam to create hot maps of the apps and see the user’s interaction in order to take data-based decisions.

In six months Michal business got up to x2 number in monthly downloads of some Apps and a huge increase in Digital Marketing skills and strategies. And Jesus obtained knowledge in digital marketing , A/B testing new software and larger practice implementing the strategies. He also learned how to communicate and manage an international team (Ukrainians and Polish).

So far both entrepreneurs are not planning a direct cooperation, since they are working in different fields, nevertheless they are implementing an Accountability Partnership in which they meet every month to check out how each other’s business is doing and if they are aligned to OKR’s that they have implemented.
