Elodie Roux founded Baby in Berlin almost 5 years ago. She decided to participate in the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme because it was a great opportunity to have a fresh view on her business, and highlight some mistakes or areas of opportunity. The ob jective for her as a host entrepreneur was to benefit from skills, which were clearly lacking in her business and she was keen to learn from Melissa Neu and take on her ideas. Elodie also wanted to share her very extended network in Berlin. Melissa is an enthusiastic and eager communicator, focused on developing marketing tools and communication campaigns. She uses her strategy and artistic skills to help effectively communicate a message, enhance a product or promote and sell a product or service on the internet. She discovered the program by surfing the web and wanted to offer her skills and knowledge in Marketing and Communication, from strategy preparation to the implementation of tools as a Digital Consultant and Web designer.

Elodie mentored Melissa on the vision and values around work and helped her run a competence review thanks to tools such as Ikigai and USP. She also supported her in the definition of products and services, offering her pricing strategy and the definition of personas. Finally, Elodie shared her contacts, allowing Melissa to grow her network. Melissa in turn helped Elodie on her brand platform, in order to decide which was the best message to convey to the client and future partners. She listed the communication actions to be carried out according to her objectives and organised a communication plan with an editorial calendar. She transformed these messages into images and words. She also introduced Elodie to the social networks and tools: how they work and their strengths and weaknesses so that she could get the basic knowledge to work independently later on.

The host entrepreneur learnt how to develop a communication and marketing strategy on social media and a clear standalone communication strategy that she will develop in the future. Elodie created an editorial calendar with engaging content to share on social media as well as a newsletter for her followers. Now she is prepared to launch an affiliate program. As for Melissa, thanks to Elodie's help she developed a complete and structured business plan, with a more detailed definition of the product and services she will offer and a solid pricing strategy. The IKIGAI method helped her to find new inspiration and get new business ideas. She also expanded her network in Berlin, which hopefully will lead to interesting collaborations in the future.
