If you ever wonder if you should go into an adventure like this while feeling scared, trust me - that's a sign that you should go for it. I know that moving to another country with no people around you can be hard but it was one of the best experiences I could have gotten as an entrepreneur and as an individual.

Health & Fitness Industry

Justina Liaukeviciute was looking for opportunities to learn from the wellness industry leaders and people who already made it with their business. Therefore Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Global seemed like a perfect fit to find someone and learn from different markets. She was looking for someone who has a similar mindset towards health and fitness and whose business values align with hers. She decided to reach out to Ana Snyder and this was one of the best decisions regarding this experience. Ana Snyder runs a health and wellness business that offers in-person or virtual personal training sessions and nutrition consultation. Her company launched a fitness app last October and they wanted to get the word out about it and attract new clients. Ana and Justina worked together to come up with creative ideas to advertise the app across social media. Ana was also interested in getting more European clients so the programme was an invaluable source in showing her how to work around European marketing restrictions.

Ana and Justina worked on marketing and communications for Ana's business. They managed to create multiple ad campaigns for various social media platforms. Through this experience, they developed a brand ambassador program and created a strategy that helped follow a step-by-step guide towards reaching over 200 000 people online. The strategies and their step-by-step actions were created in many meetings and many discussions about how they understand the client, what they actually need, and how they can solve their problems. The most important part was to understand the behaviour of different markets as well as how those markets are influenced by legal regulations and cultural differences. Overall the entrepreneurs managed to achieve great results which will help them move forward with their businesses as well as their business relationship. Together they successfully launched the fitness app by buying Facebook ads, designing video campaigns for social media as well as Instagram and Facebook ads, and developing a mailing list.

According to Justina, thanks to this exchange she has deepened her knowledge in sales and communication. But most importantly, she has developed new skills like social media management, the use of video and photo editing tools, and the importance of internal and external brand communication. Ana taught Justina about the legal side of the business, and how every business decision affects finances and the internal team. Overall, the relationship with Ana gave her a thorough understanding of what it takes to have a successful business. Justina is glad to have had the opportunity to work with Ana. During their 3-month exchange, they managed to build a relationship that will continue to move forward even though the experience has come to an end. Ana greatly enjoyed working with Justina, because she was efficient and had a lot of creative ideas on how she could tackle her marketing goals. Ana was able to gain a larger audience of paying customers internationally and grow overall  her fitness brand and exposure.
