Thanks to Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs, I had the opportunity to learn more about MHG Systems and the bio energy sector. During my stay, I discovered different approaches to business. The added value of the programme is to enable entrepreneurs to exchange knowledge.

My company greatly benefited from Antonella’s presence. Thanks to her excellent job, MHG is now focusing its activity on the Italian market.

Antonella Silipigni had recently taken over Tikkun Fenix, an Italian company located in Genova and in Rome. Tikkun Fenix helps companies achieve their set annual growth and development targets by devising strategic communication services. Antonella, together with her staff, had created a communication and advertising agency and an integrated press office. In Northern Europe, with more than 15 years experience in managing a leading supplier of bio energy ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, Seppo Huurinainen was pleased to host an ambitious new entrepreneur looking for guidance and managerial skills to sustain her company. MHG Systems Ltd had produced customer-oriented IT and map service solutions, with the purpose of developing and promoting bio energy, for more than 10 years. Antonella was very interested in developing her advertising skills by promoting bio-energy within Seppo´s company.

Upon her arrival, Seppo introduced Antonella to his company while concurrently explaining the use of bio products in Finland. In turn, Antonella was more than happy to inform Seppo about the Italian market, especially in relation to the bio energy sector, and helped him to promote MHG Systems Ltd. in Italy by translating his marketing plan in Italian.

Both entrepreneurs were extremely pleased with the exchange as they both learnt from each other’s skills and knowledge. Moreover, both entrepreneurs signed a business collaboration contract, in the hope of establishing a firm working relationship.
